Sanding is required to properly prepare surfaces for primer and paint. Wherever possible we try to mitigate the dust with dustless sanders and Festool dust extractors. The best sprayed finishes are built, one coat at a time. After caulking, filling and sanding trim, we prime it all (yes, even factory primed trim), check it over, sand again and spray 2 finish coats. This creates a smooth and durable finish.
